The Lexar Professional NM800 PRO 512GB is an internal solid-state drive designed for systems that support the M.2 2280 form factor and PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe interface. It operates using the NVMe 1.4 protocol and is intended for use as a primary or secondary internal storage device.
The Lexar Professional NM800 PRO 512GB delivers manufacturer-rated sequential read speeds of up to 7450 MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 3500 MB/s. Random performance is specified at up to 500K read IOPS and up to 900K write IOPS. The drive uses 3D TLC NAND flash and is rated for an endurance of 500 TBW. Lexar specifies a mean time between failures (MTBF) of 1,500,000 hours.
The NM800 PRO includes an integrated heatsink and heat spreader label, which are intended to assist with thermal control during sustained operation. The physical dimensions are 80 × 22 × 10 mm, and the listed weight is 54 g. The operating temperature range is specified as 0°C to 70°C, with a storage temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. Shock resistance is rated at 1500G for 0.5 ms, and vibration resistance is specified across 10–2000 Hz.
