Synology DX525 is a 5-bay expansion enclosure designed for use with compatible Synology DiskStation NAS models.
DX525 features hot-swappable drive bays, enabling users to replace or add drives without powering down the unit, which helps keep systems running without interruption. Dual cooling fans maintain optimal operating temperatures, and its power supply is synchronized with the host NAS, so it powers on and off in tandem.
HDD and SSD support
DX525 supports both 2.5″ and 3.5″ SATA drives and features plug-and-play setup and hot-swap capability for uninterrupted operation during capacity expansion.
